Shouldering the responsibility of popularizing two shows, actor-producer JD Majethia is making careful moves in Tellyland. While TRP highs and lows are not at all new to Majethia, the producer nonetheless, makes it a point to give equal emphasis to show promotions before the launch. And he took a similar step to promote his latest TV offering Byah Humaari Bahoo Ka. Majethia, who was in Ahmedabad recently to raise awareness about the show, said in a chat session, “Number of eyeballs garnered during the initial episodes is very important for a show.”
That’s why creative brainstorming and a new idea of promotion are very important, according to him. “A new idea is important for promotion of any show like any ad campaign. With a new strategy, every story’s USP needs to be highlighted to get more eyeballs. Similar approach we followed for the promotion of
Byah Humaari Bahoo Ka. We have raised a question and created curiosity,” he says.
What makes the show unique in its own way, according to Majethia is that "
Byah Humaari Bahoo Ka is an entertaining family story”. Majethia adds, “Hats Off Productions never projected a love story in a big way. Rather, this time the storyline focuses on a love story where the family is involved completely. Yashoda, the mom-in-law is traditional but is a very progressive lady. She makes everyone in the house feel special with her warmth and love.”
Now, how much attention the show gets now only time will tell.
